Creating My New Media Journal – Part 2
Back in May, I started a series about creating my new media journal. I focused solely on my reading journal spreads in that post. Today however, I want to show my TV show spreads! I absolutely love how these spreads turned out, particularly the vintage theme that I’ve kept going on throughout! Like I mentioned in my other blog post, I will explain how each spread works and why I’ve included it. Without further ado, let’s get to it!
Show of the Month

This is a spread that I’ve also used in my reading section. I really like seeing what tv shows stick out to me and having a dedicated spread with the covers of each tv show will be a good way to show that! I can’t wait to see this spread all filled in.
5 Star TV Shows

This is another spread that I have for the books I read too. Like I mentioned in my previous post, I rarely give out 5 stars for the things I watch and read. It has to be something good. This is a quick way to see those shows that stood out to me and I like that.
Shows to Re-Watch

I can’t lie, there are so many tv shows I want to watch. However, there are also shows I have watched before in the past that I would like to revisit again at some point. I like to keep a list of shows I rewatch so I can make sure I’m not rewatching something over and over again in the same year. I can’t lie though, I’m watching Criminal Minds at the moment and I already want to start rewatching it again when I finish all of the episodes. Anyway, I digress.
New Show Releases

I feel like I probably should have made this a double page spread but oh well. I am a nightmare for scrolling through social media and seeing advertisements for new shows coming out and then not making a note of them. This spread is for those moments. Don’t get me wrong, I will go through all of my streaming platforms I’m subscribed to and add to my lists of new releases but having them in one place will be really nice.
To Be Watched

The final spreads in the TV show section are my to be watched spreads. This is spread out into separate spreads depending on where I can access the show. For example, I’ve got spreads for shows I can watch on the likes of Apple, Netflix, Shudder etc. I won’t show all of them as they all look the same but you get the idea!
I hope you enjoyed this update to my media journal. I can’t wait to share the remaining spreads dedicated to films soon. For now, I will see you soon!
