5 Ways to Fill Empty Notebooks
I don’t know about all of you, but I have quite a few notebooks that are just ready and waiting to be used with their clean and crisp white pages. I have recently added two TieFossi notebooks to my collection and I am eager and excited to get going with using them.
It can be a little difficult to think about how you can use a notebook. After all, you see the cover and how gorgeous it is, especially my latest Sakura & Cat Notebook from TieFossi. You don’t want to ruin it but at the same time get the best use out of it.
If you find yourself stuck, I have gathered a few different ways you can fill empty notebooks. These are all different ways I have used notebooks for myself so please note this isn’t something that’s not sincere or anything like that. I hope this is useful for you and you get some guidance!
A Bullet Journal
A Bullet Journal is probably one of the more common ways to fill out an empty notebook. If you’re unsure on what a Bullet Journal, it’s basically a planning system that allows you to track the past, organise the present and plan for the future. Yes, that is a direct quote from Ryder Carroll himself.
A Stationery Swatches Journal
If you’re trying to find ways to fill out empty notebooks, there’s a high chance that you probably have a few pieces of stationery lying around. I admit I am that person too. You can use a new notebook to swatch new pieces of stationery. I have a notebook for swatching any new washi tape or pens that I get and it’s filling up rather nicely!
A Media Journal
I consume quite a lot of things in the form of tv shows, films and books. Therefore, I have a media journal where I track the things I want to read and watch, how much I read and watch, and write reviews on the different things I consume. This allows me to really think about what it is I’m consuming and also it’s rather fun to flip back through old volumes and see what you used to watch and read and what you thought of it!
Keep a Daily Journal
I have journaled every single day since 1st January 2020 and it is probably my favourite part of the day. I’m a free-flowing kind of person, so a blank notebook is perfect because it means I can write as much or as little as I want to about my day.
Have a Practice Journal
This is something I don’t share that much as it’s purely for my benefit. I am a perfectionist and I like to make sure that my journals that I use each day, such as my Bullet Journal or Media Journal, are nice and pleasant to use. I’m not saying that they should be. This is just something that I like to do. I have a separate notebook that I use for planning and practicing any spreads or themes for my different journals.
Of course, there are a lot of different ways someone can use a notebook. This is just how I use mine and I wanted to take the time to explain each way rather than just listing 100 different ways. Yes, that’s possible! Thank you so much for taking the time out of your day to read this post!
